Dating back to circa 1630, this former Coaching Inn has combined its many original features with modern comforts, to create the charming, welcoming town centre Hotel it is today. The Talbot boasts 28 individually appointed, en-suite Bedrooms, including Four Posters and family rooms. All our rooms have colour television, direct-dial telephone, beverage tray, and trouser press. We have parking for approximately 20 cars in the Car Park at the rear of the building. Room Service is available during our normal service times. Whether your visit is for business or pleasure, the Talbot is ideally situated for visits to Birmingham, The NEC, and all the facilities and holiday centres nearby.
The Talbot hotel has been under new management since September 2005 and has had a fully refurbished bar, lounge areas, reception, residence bar, corridors and rooms. This refurbishment has now been completed in the residental areas leaving a modern comforting establishment.

The Windsor Room, our charming Oak Panelled Private room is steeped in character, and lends itself beautifully to conferences, lectures and parties of up to 30 guests.

 

The Ballroom , formerly The Assembly Rooms. This recently refurbished Ballroom with its elegant vaulted ceiling is the perfect venue for your Wedding Reception, Formal Dinner, or Family Celebration. The Ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 90 guests for a sit down meal, 150 for evening receptions and parties and boasts a private bar, large dance floor, and it's own facilities, including stair lift access.
