Cisswood House is also only 15 minutes from the seaside town of Brighton. Set in acres of mature landscaped gardens, the hotel was built in 1928 for the then chairman of Harrods, Sir Woodman Burbridge and his wife Cissily, and still retains magnificent examples of wood and plaster work created by the craftsmen from the store.
