London Marriott Hotel, County Hall
Dominating the South Bank of the River Thames in the heart of London, opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben and next to Westminster Bridge and the London Eye, is the County Hall building.
Opened in 1922 and originally designed to house London’s government, this magnificent building, steeped in history, has been sympathetically restored and is now home to the London Marriott Hotel, County Hall.
All 200 bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and many have river views. All have en-suite bathrooms, tea / coffee making facilities, television, mini bar, iron and trouser press and work desk with Broadband Internet line. Express checkout and check-in is also available and the hotel offers 24-hour Concierge and Room Service.
The County Hall Restaurant is one of London’s finest contemporary European restaurants, boasting stunning views of the Thames. The Rotunda Lounge, with similar views, is the perfect setting for a traditional English afternoon tea, with The Leader’s bar offering a selection of fine champagnes, wines, cocktails and cigars.
And with 11 meeting rooms, including the stunning Library and Parliament Suite, County Hall offers the definitive venue for conference and events in the heart of the Capital. All private rooms boast Broadband Internet access, natural daylight and air-conditioning, complimented by a fully equipped Business Centre and the trademark Marriott service.
The newly refurbished Club at County Hall offers extensive fitness equipment and a 25m swimming pool on the 6th floor, with male and female Jacuzzis and plunge pools, as well as a Health & Beauty Spa.
