Prested Hall
Prested Hall is a fine period part-moated manor house, just off the A12 between Colchester and Chelmsford, a mile from Kelvedon station and half an hour from both Stansted Airport and Harwich. Discreetly located down a long tree-lined avenue, it stands in 75 acres of parkland, and offers ample parking for visitors coming by car or helicopter.
Prested promises to be “just that little bit different”, and lives up to its promise. At Prested, you will find modern boutique chic combined with fine period interiors, staff who care but are greatly professional, 10 beautiful ensuite bedrooms, serviced flats offering an additional 10 bedrooms, and a number of elegant function rooms - for small meetings and fixtures for up to 150 delegates. Prested’s chefs ensure that gastronomic expectations are satisfied - all important when you are away from home on business.
Prested is the only hotel in the world to offer delegates an introduction to the tactical and thrilling Tudor game of Real Tennis. It also has a modern health club with a 20m indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym, beauty and massage therapy suites. Over the years, Prested has hosted corporate residential retreats, residential and day training sessions, conferences, courses, exhibitions, trade shows, away breaks, think tanks, specialist activity holiday groups, and outdoor events in the grounds.
Prested is a one-off, dedicated to quality and style without pretension. It is a beautiful place, where nothing is formulaic, where staff deliver an unusually high level of service, rates are gentle, and clients leave feeling stimulated and happy.
