River room restaurant The hotel opened June 1997 and is already proving a great success with many regular users. It is ideal for Residential Courses/Meetings as well as Day Meetings. A wide variety of air conditioned Conference Suites are available all with natural light, one of which is a Medieval Barn. The Hotel can cater for numbers of 2 to 160. Main Training Rooms are complimented with large syndicate rooms. Many of the suites have their own outdoor seating areas. Outdoor events and activities can also be catered for within the 30 acres of parkland the hotel has as well as events on the River. Dragon boat racing or Company Regattas can be held at the hotel starting 1999 when the St. John's College Barge can be used as a base for Drinks & Food. Board Meetings or private drinks or buffets can also be held on the Barge for up to 30 people. With a dedicated business office and staff on hand throughout the day trainers and organisers can rest assured that their event will run smoothly and will see that changes to itineraries are met with promptly.
