The National Railway Museum
Situated behind York Railway Station, The National Railway Museum is the largest museum of its kind in the world and is winner of several awards, including Museum of the Year and Visitor Attraction of the Year. It is home to the Flying Scotsman, Mallard, Eurostar, the Shinkansen ‘Bullet Train’, and is host to the Yorkshire Wheel.
You can dine on the main platform surrounded by the wonders of the world of steam and royal carriages with an Edwardian backdrop.
The Conference Centre has a choice of rooms to suit your specific requirements. We also have two adjacent rooms that, when opened together, create an exhibition space measuring 275sq m. The entire museum is also licensed for wedding ceremonies.
