National Coal Mining Museum
The National Coal Mining Museum for England is truly a conference venue with a difference. Nestling in the foothills of the Pennines, this delightful rural site has easy access to the M1 (6 miles) and M62 (10 miles), with inter-city rail connections at Wakefield Westgate, giving convenient and easy access to London and the North of England. The Museum has ample free car and coach parking facilities.
The Museum offers conference, meeting, seminar and social function facilities for both daytime and evening.
Events can be tailor made to your specification, and if time permits, delegates have the opportunity to go underground, guided by an ex-miner who will entertain you with mining tales during the hour-long tour.
The Museum's first-class in-house catering provides quality and service for clients. There is a fully licensed bar available to all delegates.
Costs for the conference facilities are worked on a room hire plus catering basis. A daily delegate rate is available.
