Morrison Hotel
The Morrison offers a wide range
of Meeting and Conference spaces and facilities. Meetings
for anything from 8 to 230 delegates can be accommodated
in our new state of the art dedicated meeting venues.
These can include meetings & conferences, press
& product launches, private dining, cocktail receptions
and private parties. These conference and event facilities
are very unique and include Strand Street Art Gallery
with its own private entrance from Ormond Quay. This
is a stunning venue for a private cocktail reception
and can hold up to 50 people. The Georgian Boardroom
is located over head and can be used for a boardroom
of up to 20 delegates or used in conjunction with a
reception in the Art Gallery for a free flowing split
level event. The Art Gallery leads in to the picturesque
Courtyard Garden with its Bohemian feel. This in turn
leads in to Printworks, which is the main conference/venue
space. Printworks can hold up to 230 delegates theatre
style or 140 delegates for a sit down meal. It is a
flexible room and can be divided in to three separate
rooms. Printworks is indeed an unusual venue
with its whitewashed walls and solid oak floors. It
acts as a blank canvas and can be lit, branded and themed
in a number of different styles. One can use it as a
party room or for a large conference space. The Morrison has also invested considerable
time in to their menu planning and conference organisers
can choose from a range of healthy lifestyle lunches,
smoothies and organic granola bars for breakfast and
even ice cream for afternoon coffee breaks. The well being Spa at the Morrison
will open in February 2006 and delegates will be able
to avail of afternoon sessions in the meditation room
and an Indian head massage before continuing with their
meeting. All of our venues are equipped with
WIFI, ample three-phase power supply and natural daylight.
The Morrison features the latest audiovisual equipment
and special arrangements can be made by the events team
to aid in all of your requests.
