Opened in May 2010, The Grand Hotel & Spa is aspiring to be York’s first 5 star hotel set in the grade II listed former North Eastern Railway Headquarters, one of York’s most iconic Edwardian buildings. Rooms range from loft-style spaces with views of the Minster to suites overlooking the famous city wall. A decking area on a specially designed terrace overlooking York’s historic city wall will be spacious enough to accommodate a marquee for 250 guests which, along with a cocktail bar, restaurant & private dining rooms, provide a choice of sophisticated spaces and places to break-out, meet, relax and dine.
